This thing is money! Before I added this to my gravel bike, the State All-Road 4130, my chain broke every time I hit a semi-steep trail. Yes, I have everything set up correctly and my front derailleur does not have a clutch mechanism. I've probably ridden at least 600 miles with this chainguard so far with no problems. I ride my gravel bike everywhere from rocky, rooted solo roads to drops, logs and jumps, and this thing has held up great. Not the most streamlined look, but functionality is top notch. It's mostly made of plastic, but it's lightweight. It should probably be around half the price based on the materials and simple design alone. It looks like someone could reproduce something like this fairly easily with a 3D printer. I had to modify it to fit my bike's down tube. I put a piece of real rubber bike tube around the down tube of the bike frame as the actual clamp was too big. Worked great because it doesn't scratch the paintwork and dampens vibrations a bit better.
