Review on TONPE Mini Percussion Muscle Massage Gun for Athletes - Portable Handheld Massager for Neck, Back, and Shoulder - Deep Tissue Massage with 4 Interchangeable Heads (Green) by Maria Gonzalez

It works almost as well as full size deep tissue massagers

This cute little massager really works, don't let my title fool you. It works well and is actually very powerful for its cute little package size. I'm used to using full size deep tissue massagers with finer adjustment and cyclical impact pressure depending on how tight you hold the massage gun. This one can get close to it (I should use medium speed), but it lacks the slower cyclic vibrations to achieve the percussive massage tempo that's easily achieved with a longer grip. You just have to adjust the grip to find it like I had to do with the TONPE MG11. The MG11 has medium, fast and very fast cycles for the speeds available. If you haven't used the larger ones, you'll have a hard time understanding what I just described. This is a really great little massage gun to have on your desk or when traveling or as your first deep tissue massager! I almost always use a hard dome flat head or a soft foam ball with these massagers. Style is the most striking attribute of this cute little instrument. Don't let the cuteness fool you, it has enough power to loosen tight muscles! The petite size doesn't mean it performs like one of those discount store vibrators, it really is amazing! For me it's too shiny and slick at times, especially after my fiancee uses it when she has lotion on her hands! The compactness also prevents you from reaching further down or up your back unless you're an acrobat. It is also likely to be confused with another type of massager. LOL, but that's probably too aggressive. The rose gold accents along with the unicorn crest brilliantly centered on the pistachio ice cream flavored body are a little swish with the design (I know it's meant to be 'retro'). but it's a great massager and not all massagers have to look like futuristic photon gun trainers! It's also a great gift option for the holidays. I love mine so far! Take it, you will love it!

Pros
  • Back Massagers
Cons
  • So far so good
