Quite disappointed with the new TP3012 replacement. I've been using these filters on my Duramax for several years. 1. Problem, the top seal was deformed and didn't fit properly. After struggling with it, I let it stay in the filter. 2nd problem, the thread or something was different and this filter could not be screwed on. After a long struggle I finally managed to do it. 3rd issue as several people here have reported it not seating properly and leaking diesel. And yes, it was tight. If you're having major issues with your new design, ask yourself how well it filters. I'd love to return it, but I highly doubt Revain would want to return it after it had a diesel in it. It may have been a bad filter, but looks like I'm just going to go to Napa this time and get a wix. I'd rather not risk getting contaminants in my injectors.
