I also bought a regular Linden cheese slicer and it's really great. I've never tried the chopper version and it's a gratin (intended). If you want to grate cheese, you usually need a grater. Micro-lamella graters are too small for coarsely grated cheese (e.g. for sprinkling on pancakes or pizza). Therefore, you should use a rotary mill (moving parts for cleaning) or a regular grater (more cleaning). This tool gives you coarse crumbs, but takes up little space in the dishwasher and gets the job done perfectly. I will probably use it daily. Pairs well with hard aged cheddar and softer Gouda. Highly recommended. [Note: If you are making a large batch of cheese, e.g. B. half a pound or more, it is best to use a food processor or rotary food processor. However, it is necessary to take into account the cleaning of one of them. Enough to cover a pancake, sprinkle over a salad, mix into pancake batter (yes that's a very good thing), it works great.]
