Working on Elbow Tendonitis

After battling a tendonitis in my upper forearm near my elbow for months, I decided to try something else before going to the doctor. The tendinitis was so bad that I woke up in the middle of the night with a throbbing. Also, I started to have problems with capturing. It would be painful to grab and carry something. First, I wanted to get a compression sleeve for my elbow. After further research I came to the conclusion that it probably wouldn't work and many have complained that the sleeves are often the wrong size or lose their compression properties after a short period of time. I realized that's not what I need. While browsing through compression sleeves I came across these compression pads. It seemed better than the case and most other product reviews were positive. I chose the Avvida brand because it was one of the cheapest under Prime Shipping and two of those were included. I've been using this product for almost three weeks and I love it. When I got it early Saturday afternoon I put it on straight away and the pain really subsided. It didn't go away completely, but it got better. After a few hours the pain subsided. In the first week I wore it almost all the time, even when I slept. When the situation improved in the second week, I stopped wearing it at night. Last weekend I had to move furniture in and out of the living room because new flooring was laid. This pillow helped and my tendinitis didn't seem to get worse. Now I'm halfway into week three, I only wear it to work at my desk and take it off when I get home. Next week I plan on not wearing it at all or maybe 1/2 a day and see what happens. One last note, as with most things, sometimes things get worse before they get better. There were days when my tendinitis seemed worse than the day before. As this happened, I adjusted the pressure based on how my elbow felt.
