Review on SawStop TSBC 10R2 Cartridge 10 Inch Blades by Gent Dobson

Don't think you can replace the cartridge and blade in 90 seconds. I would say 10-15 minutes would be more accurate. This can take longer if you don't work with the knife, then the cartridge, then the knife, etc. Wiggle alternately and you may still have to use the crowbar on the blade and the big screwdriver on the cartridge. Once it comes out, replacing it is easy. I kept my carbide tipped blade and used a large vise to hold the aluminum part, then I used a piece of hardwood and placed the hardwood with the blade teeth inserted into the aluminum billet and facing up on the blade next to the aluminum billet , hit hardwood a few times and for me BINGO.blade came out with very little damage. A trip to the mill and back to business. The blade was flat, didn't wobble and only needed a carbide tip or two to be reworked. My mistake was using a metal angle with an aluminum part on the near end, pressed against the wood and watching the top of the tree get cut off accurately. This piece of aluminum was in contact with the blade and the system worked perfectly. $79 note and big lesson. Great system, this Saw Stop.
