Review on Delta Faucet RP25513 Stem Assembly by George Bell

PAY $250.00 OR $30.00. WHAT DO YOU PREFER?

FOR $30 you can replace both valve stems and seats and springs on a Delta dual handle faucet. There are many videos showing step by step how easy it is. Call a plumber for a quote. I have made. $250.00 is the cheapest I've found. You have to pay the person who answers your call, accountants, utilities, gas, maintenance and wages. I HAVE SOME SUGGESTIONS: Don't buy counterfeit or aftermarket faucet parts. Buy an original part. Take a picture of the valve stem before removing it. Make sure the new valve stem is exactly the same, especially the stop. Careful with emphasis. It falls out easily. Have a small can of non-hazardous silicone assembly grease ready and apply a light coat to the stem and o-rings prior to installation. After watching a few videos, this job takes about an hour for a beginner. In that hour, the beginner saves $220 and learns to save more in the future.
