This thing is built to last. Heavy plastic surrounds a sharp grill that slices into your hot dog. I'm not sure why people have trouble slicing unless they're trying sausage with skin or ribs or something other than regular hot dogs. Works great with my Costco and Jewish National hot dogs. Simply place on top of a properly chilled hot dog and rock left to right, then remove the hot dog from the grill. Flip and make a waffle slot on the other side of the hot dog. Place on the grill, under the grill, or in an oiled pan. Makes rock star hot dogs. Pre-cut a bundle for your party and then grill it to order and check out the comments.
