Review on HP 24Uh 24" Backlit Monitor 1920x1080p, 60Hz, LCD with HD Resolution - K5A38AA#ABA by Richard Schwalbe

I bought an HP 24uh to replace an old 19" LCD monitor that was about 15 years old. It was packaged well and was easy to unbox and install. It's lightweight and there's an option to adjust the angle of the screen, which is a good thing. I've considered spending a little more for a display that allows the height to be adjusted up and down with a pedestal, but the adjustments I can make with the tilt are fine so far. If I need to adjust it on all risers they are cheap. .Mine is connected via HDMI. Because DVI-D is already being used in my dock for another monitor. Easy setup of three displays with my laptop. I got the latest drivers from the HP website The latest drivers were installed. I have this setup with a docking station so each of us in the house can dock our laptops and have three screens to work with. I work in information technology and use this for standard web interfaces and CLI access to them Network support, design and management systems. Of course, there's email, Excel, Word for standard business documentation. So I don't deal intensively with graphics. The display quality is more than sufficient for my purposes. I'm not sure if this is enough for those who work with graphics and video and need a specific color and resolution to work. But I suspect that anyone who expects a display to offer what they need for this type of work knows more about what they're looking for and understands what it's best for by looking at the details of the product. I will most likely be buying another one sooner rather than later to replace my other old Envision. The old thing looks like the sad poor little brother of the new HP.
