I bought these clips after buying a set of 10 clover clips. Clover clips were quite expensive so I decided to buy them for various fabric projects. In terms of quality, they cannot be compared to Clover clips. The plastic and metal of these clips appear to be of lower quality (thinner). They don't seem that strong, but they work. As some reviewers have pointed out, there is a plastic end or an extra piece of rough plastic at the end of the clamp handle. If you're working with delicate fabrics or fabrics that can snag, you can file that extra piece of plastic to smooth it out. Considering the price, I am very happy with this purchase. By the way, this company is so attentive to their customers that they add a tape measure as a "thank you" for being their customer. So thoughtful. Will buy from this company again if I need more clips.
