The problem may be polarity

The product info says to flip the bulb when it's off, but not all sockets in the dash turn on when the key is turned. You'll also need to power up the cluster (and connect the cables) to verify that the lightbulb is properly installed. The airbag alarm on my truck went off because the warning light was not sending the correct signal with the bulbs installed. I had to put one of the old lightbulbs back in after figuring out where the high pitched noise was coming from under my dash!
