Review on Acurel Budget-friendly Activated Carbon Filter Pellets for Optimized Filtration by Tim Loya

When I opened this bag, I was instantly transported back to my childhood and remembered what rabbit food looked like, only it was black. While working on the application - air purification. I don't use this in an aquarium, but if you do you MUST flush the charcoal first. I recently found that pellet form charcoal like this brand is not as effective or "air filtering" as the charcoal you find in pebble or stone form (has something to do with the composition of the charcoal). But it works and it was a great purchase! I recommend this product.
