I took a gamble and bought this camera at the last minute before a 3 week trip to Italy so I'm happy! Winkel, and also give me the opportunity to dive. I didn't need a lot of fasteners, I screwed the waterproof case onto the selfie stick, used the included Velcro, and attached the remote to the stick's grip. It worked great! I ended up using this camera a lot more than my iPhone. In the first week I took over 1000 photos. I used the video option very little. Notable: 1.) In 3 weeks of LOTS of use, battery life seemed to decrease between charges. Still very comfortable but a definite drop in both batteries. They'll last a while, even after that. 2.) Removing the battery will reset the date/time settings to their defaults. 3.) The battery cover is easy to lose, 4.) there's no flash, which isn't very handy in low light. Wifi and remote control worked great, image sharpness was very good. Definitely buy if you need such a camera
