I wanted to replace a problematic and cheap store bought shower head with a really good one that seals well. The problem is that the end of the pipe where the rubber gasket is located is quite flimsy and eventually the gasket will slip down the pipe and the connection will always leak. No amount of teflon tape or thread sealant would help much and for long. So I bought a more expensive branded model, thinking it would be well made enough to fit the rubber washer well. Well it's no better than the cheap one I replaced. The wall frame is much better and I damaged the old one removing it so I'm hesitant to leave this one hoping I can seal it somehow. I'm afraid I wasted my money.
