Review on High-quality 3 Position Ignition Key Switch - OEM Replacement for Polaris Ranger, Sportsman, Magnum, and Scrambler by Prem Robinson

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Switch shorted out after too many weeks of daily use.

The switch worked fine initially, but after three weeks of daily use the Ranger started to blow fuses. I went back to the ranger thinking I had shorted out another component to no avail. It turned out to be the switch again. If you take it apart you can see where the pins are wearing through the insulation between the pins leaving a copper line between the pins which in my case causes a short when attempting to start and intermittently while running. After too much time, I finally realized it had to be the switch I just replaced, and indeed it was. On the outside it looks and works well, but where it counts, it needs improvement in the long run.
