I first bought them to install in the back of our special van. Behind the large rear seats, the cargo area was very dark and had no lights. I didn't want to plug in the lights so I found them at a great price and decided to give them a try. You are perfect! The battery pack in the van has a service life of approx. 6 months and is used frequently. I installed them with the screws provided so they would be more secure on bumpy van roads. You just have to remember to turn them off when you're done! (Especially the kids!) I was starting to notice other areas of our home that could use some extra lighting without the hassle of wiring and without the aesthetics of power cords. So my next purchase of 6 was installed under the top kitchen shelves. LEDs provide excellent illumination of countertops and work areas, and thanks to the lamp's small size, they are invisible behind the molding at the bottom of the cabinets. Fits perfectly with the included double stick tape! I'm a fan! Great product, good price and very functional!
