Review on 50' Titanium Exhaust Heat Wrap Roll For Motorcycle Fiberglass Heat Shield Tape With Stainless Ties By LEDAUT 2 by Joshua Reid

I had to wrap a muffler and exhaust pipes on my 56 T'Bird for 1) shielding B&M transmission shift cable from heat and 2) reduce radiant heat into interior of car. This accomplished both. The ties are okay for small exhaust pipes. They due give a little bit after snugging them up, so they do not work as well plastic ties (not usable for high temp). I bought 11" ties and had to link two together to surround muffler.As a work around for inability of tightening ties real snug, I put a dab of high temp RV silicone on each seam of wraps and ran complete bead on ends at front and back.This performed what I needed to accomplish and was half the cost of 'name brand' product.Item is listed for Motorcycles, but specs allow it for pretty much any gas engin vehicle
