Review on Reflective Dog Leash With Padded Handle - 3/4/6/10 Foot Nylon Braided Rope Leash For Large And Medium Small Dogs - Walking Lead For Training - Green (6FT-1/3'') By Mycicy by Tyler Vaughn

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Wonderful color scheme.

**UPDATE** - After only about 5-7 days, the leash was getting pretty badly frayed and dingy. If you don't have a problem with maintaining a two-handed technique (keeping the leash from brushing the sidewalk or ground), you'll be fine. I hung this up as a spare and purchased another Ruffin' It climber's-rope leash for daily use (Zippy Paws are same basic quality). With it, I can let it drag without worry, and it lasts for months and months.**Original Review** - The bright red and blue color scheme is what made me purchase this. I can say that the colors are well-represented here in the photos. As for being relective, it's *very* reflective. You will definitely be seen in headlight beams. The overall width of the leash is just a bit thin for my preference, but it seems sturdy enough in the 5 days or so that I've had it. It has one feature I've not seen before, but probably will not utilize - a plastic locking mechanism on the clip (visible in the photos). I've never had a problem with a leash clip somehow coming undone (or opening when I didn't manually pull it open), but maybe this is an issue for others. If so, you may appreciate the feature.I was hoping Mycicy had matching harnesses, but all I see here is leashes.

Pros
  • Durable nylon braided rope is strong enough for even large dogs
Cons
  • The reflective material may scratch or wear off over time, making it less effective
