I bought this to keep paper plates upright in my cupboard and it works very well. It's a bit lighter than I thought - it doesn't affect the functionality of what I'm using it for, just an observation. The ends at the bottom are a bit sharp (as read in other reviews) but you can file them down a bit. Again, he's in my office, so I don't care. You can also see where the rings meet at the very bottom, but if it's filled with napkins (or in my case, paper plates and hidden in a closet) no one will notice. All in all you get what you pay for.
