Review on ALITOVE WS2812B Individually Addressable Waterproof Lighting & Ceiling Fans by Adrian Allen

The color and brightness are ok compared to all the others I've used and this is one of the cheapest strips I've bought. I use them with WLED via aircookie and esp8266. I cut it into lots of short strips for different spots and it works great. Even so, this strip is too long to be easily used even with a 5V power supply. If you supply power from both ends, the center is still noticeably darker with worse color accuracy than the rest. Power to the center too Coming is difficult but possible. If you want a long strip, you need extra work and something that doesn't move as easily as a 12V strip. Also, the lights are on a metal strip, not plastic with built-in rails like some pricier options. This means it's not uncommon to accidentally kink or break it if you're not careful, which will turn off all lights after the link and require soldering to fix. The case appears to be waterproof but I still have it in and I remove the case to better fit the areas I use it on.
