I took this pack up the Long Trail and continued to Georgia on the Appalachian Trail. It was the perfect size for my setup. I kept my sleeping bag on top of my backpack and under this blanket it is NEVER WET like everyone else, maybe a little wet from time to time. This case is very good! Any resulting holes can be patched with tape. love it love it In addition, when you are lazy, you can wear it all the time and use it as an extra place to store your coat, hat and pants when you get warm. Thing has traveled 1869 miles and still has life in it!
