I installed a tool adjuster on a 20 year old CNC machine for quick drilling and tapping. It appears to have excellent build quality. So far it works great with about 30 sets of tools and is blown coolant. The instruments appear to be correct within a repeatability of about 0.0002 inches. I have no idea how long this will last, but it's a lot cheaper than the $300-$1500 alternatives. It has a timer switch that I wired in series with my axle. overspeed switch. So if you drive the tool into the tool setter, the servo performance will be destroyed. My machine then has an overrun button that I can hold down to manually disengage the spindle from the TS. I will buy again if needed.
