My kitty absolutely loves these self grooming combs and took to it right away! I just got them in the mail this afternoon and put up two of them on the doorways she constantly rubs up against. It's not too hard or rough for my her because she loves strong and stiff bristles. I didn't need to use the catnip, but she prefers to eat and roll around on it anyways.Instead of using the adhesive tape that is provided in this package, I used my own double sided tape that I have, because I know for a fact that it doesn't remove the paint from the walls or doors. Since I'm using my own tape, I don't know how well the original adhesive tape works that comes with it or if it removes paint off the walls or doorways when removed. It does come with screws as well, but I rent so I can't install it that way.
