This is a solid solution that I've seen for many years. It comes with a suite of software, including Cyberlink PowerDVD 14. It plays and burns quad-layer UHD Blu-Ray discs, and does it very well as long as you use the bundled software. I ended up using a free Drive Launcher app as for some reason it was struggling. Its worth it! Installation, as with most PC hardware, is a lot more difficult depending on what case you have, so don't blame Pioneer for that. I didn't have to contact tech support, so three stars means I don't currently have a valid opinion on this. Also, this drive is so quiet it's a little spooky, so well-deserved five stars!
