There are better tools for cleaning hardwood floors and other surfaces. But the grout head is worth the price of this unit and I only use it for that purpose, along with the excellent Rejuvenate grout cleaner. Keeps my grout looking brand new with ease as this device saves you from getting on your hands and knees with a toothbrush to do the same job. The unit offers more cleaning pressure, so cleaning takes half the time (an annual requirement in our house). I haven't seen anything like this on the market before. So bought two!
