I filled them with souvenirs and they were a big hit. I put the hat I got in the hospital after my first son was born and his dog tag in one. I've made a few wedding invitations and saved the dates I've received over the years and then distributed them to couples. The newlyweds loved the decorations for their special day. Be careful not to drop them or they might open! I was able to close one and reuse it, but the other broke. Since I have a toddler, I would still choose this plastic variant. Cleaning was easy.
