Review on 🔧 Genuine Subaru Parts: Element Air Cleaner (16546AA12A) - Enhanced Performance & Durability by Bill Pool

I was a bit hesitant to order because people said they received fakes. Like everything else, it depends on the third party. The third party I chose with Prime shipping was called Genuine Subaru Parts. The part I received was a genuine Subaru filter. I have a 2018 Subaru Outback 3.6R Touring and it's the right part, although Revane says it doesn't fit my car. I installed it as soon as it arrived today. As you can see in the photo, in terms of dimensions, build quality and looks, it is an exact replica of what came from the factory in my Outback (dirty factory on the left, new on the right). Installation was a bit of a hassle as there wasn't much room to open the box and take out the filter. Once you have released the 2 clips at the top of the air box you will need to use some force to create a gap on the passenger side of the box big enough to slide the old one out and put the new one in. Bad design/placement from Subaru.
