Review on Sceptre E275W 1920 V1 Frameless LED Monitor: Wall Mountable with Pivot Adjustment and HDMI Connectivity by Doug Horn

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Excellent value for money - my new review

Here's a quick plus/minus for those who don't want to read a long paragraph. Pros - Built-in speakers - 3 inputs (HDMI, VGA, DVI) - Great picture - HD quality - Great price for a 27" monitor Cons: - The second monitor I had had a slight stain (it's lighter than the rest of the monitor). screen) ), which was a bit annoying. I ordered one of these from Walmart.com and decided to order a second one from Revain. but Revain had a tiny speck that's brighter than the rest of the screen. I didn't complain about it, but I probably should have. It doesn't bother me too much, so I've decided to live with it. The stain is the reason I took a star off my rating. Spots aside, this monitor is great, especially for the relatively low price. Most large monitors, 27 inches and larger, cost between $300 and $500, so $130 is a steal. I've read reviews where people complained about the speakers. They don't reach the quality of a sound system that costs hundreds of dollars, but don't expect that. I have nothing to complain about the sound. I watch YouTube videos and stream Revain videos through the monitor's built-in speakers and the audio sounds pretty good even when I turn the volume on. A big plus for me was not having to buy external speakers. However, you can connect external speakers if you wish. HDMI input was another plus. I wanted to be able to use this monitor with my Xbox so HDMI was a must when I was looking for a monitor. The picture is HD quality and looks good. It makes web surfing or work much better. The screen is so big that you can have two things open at the same time, which is like two full-screen modes. Only problem is I've spoiled myself and just using my laptop screen is torture haha. As I said, I also watch YouTube, TV and movies on this monitor and they all look sharp and lag free. I don't play high refresh rate video games, so I can't comment on the quality. Overall, this monitor is good quality at a very modest price. I would definitely buy it again (oh wait, I already did) and I would highly recommend it.
