Bought this unit a few months ago for my Pisces nail gun. I don't use it very often, but when the device arrived my battery died, so I tested it. The charger made weird clicks and seemed unsafe to exit charging. I was a little afraid that a fire would break out. But I let it charge the battery under my supervision and it worked. A few months later I ran out of juice again with similar results. Just recently I tried to use it for the third time. This time the battery was completely empty. My charger worked for several hours without a new charge. I ended up buying the official Ryobi charger and charging the battery in 30 minutes. It turned out to be a waste of money.
