This pouch was exactly what I needed the perfect size to carry a squeeze bottle for my dog and a Kirkland water bottle for myself. The option of carrying poop bags on either side makes it really convenient for right or lefthand users. As I stated earlier that the belt that comes with the pouch is fairly useless. I ended up purchasing a UTG tactical 2" nylon belt and that took this pouch to a whole new level as a training aid. I can't comment on the shoulder strap due to the fact that I have never used it. I would recommend this pouch if you're looking for a good pouch for those long hikes with mans best friend! Don't forget to look at upgrading the belt system if you want to use it in that configuration.
