Review on J B Weld JB 8277 Waterweld by George Woods

I needed to fix a cracked drain line from a gray tank in my caravan. My tear was half the circumference of a 1-1/2" PVC pipe with a 90 degree connector. I was a little skeptical about this product after reading several reviews of the material being difficult to mix and either not dries or sticks. But I decided to give it a try. I cleaned the joint according to the product instructions and roughly sanded it. It was very easy for me to mix the two materials into a homogeneous mixture. This took about two minutes. (Put on latex gloves - you you'll thank me!) I then applied it all the way around the pipe and fitting. It stuck very well and was well set up in about 20 minutes. I waited several hours before filling the tank and line with water. No leakage. I took the trailer on a 4 day 180 mile hike (I was curious to see if it could handle road vibrations) It stayed dry to the bone For me the product has been a great success g and has saved me the hassle of cutting out and replacing multiple sections of pipe and fittings.
