Review on Enhanced Canon EF 70-200mm f/4L USM Telephoto Zoom Lens for Canon SLR Cameras - Lens Only with Improved SEO by Maejima Riko ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

I am satisfied, the purchase is quite successful.

Why did I write the focal length in the shortcomings? What can I say: Here in the description of "Kenon" it kind of neatly tells us that this is a moderately long-focus lens and then blah blah blah and what a drop-dead picture quality it has for such a price, and after all this is the "L" series where to go, grab it while there is a type. and without advertising, of course, about aperture equal to 4 over the entire interval. And so I rush to the store to buy my cherished lens, bought it, unpacked it, read the instructions and installed it. And here is the first disappointment, it was not possible to photograph the Flying duck in dynamics, it lacks focal length, and why? But because "kenon" already in the article so casually told us that this is a moderately long-focus lens! It turns out that this lens for photography is not suitable in the forest! In a zoo in cages, where there are animals nearby, it’s normal. No, of course, you can lie in wait for the birds and then take pictures and photoshop them. But there won’t always be ideal conditions for shooting. So you need to get used to this lens, having understood its weaknesses, namely, it does not like too sunny weather + its hole 4, in short, they also need to be able to maneuver in order to launch the right amount of light, having bought it, you will understand what I'm talking about. As a portrait lens, this lens is 5+, it makes an excellent portrait, photographing flowers on the street from a distance of 70-80mm is also good, Well, this is my opinion and I will express it that the lens is sharp, but as they say here "sharp like a razor" I would I didn’t say, maybe I haven’t mastered it completely yet. But in the reviews, I often see "PR reviews" after using the lens. The lens is good to the best of its minuses and pluses, but as soon as it gets dark, you are welcome to take a tripod from the bag, like that. I’m thinking, in principle, to disguise myself as a wild boar and enter a flock of them or get closer if, then I think normally, a lens for a photo hunt will do. :) I think you need to take a telephoto there 70-300 or more up to 500.

Pros
  • build quality, lens hood, made in Japan, good and tenacious autofocus in my opinion, manual autofocus, iron and glass. The switch on the lens has two autofocus modes, at a short distance of the object and far. Beautiful bokeh. No "washers" soft plastic blur. beautiful color is not white, as in the photo, a little gray, but it looks beautiful.
Cons
  • focal length, filters are expensive for the "67" thread.
