The product description of the HP 2009M is somewhat misleading. Briteview technology doesn't really "reduce glare" at all. On the contrary, the new fetish of LCD manufacturers is the glossy screen, which is said to produce bright colors. It's ok if you need a video monitor. But when you're processing or reading text on your computer, those shiny screens kill your eyes. According to HP's website, the HP 2009F version of this LCD doesn't support Briteview, so it's probably the matte screen I really wanted, but unfortunately Revain doesn't have that model. I don't know what other people think of it, but I've hated the glossy LCD screen ever since it was introduced. Not sure how it "improves clarity" when the glossy screen makes you squint.
