PRO: I love these shoes! I replaced my old New Balance 847V3 men's running shoes with these. First, it's the lightest shoe I've ever owned and my first pair of Sketchers. They fit great, all black so I can wear them to work and they are very comfortable. Cons: You have to be careful when walking in them on certain smooth surfaces, such as B. the linoleum floors you see in the hallways of many old office buildings. . Sleek ceramic tile floors, like in a mall, are also a problem. For some reason the soles of these shoes DO NOT slide on these surfaces AT ALL and I have tripped and fallen half a dozen times because of it. However, this problem ONLY occurs with such floor coverings. I think it's the combination of the ultra-lightweight shoe and the material that the soles are made of that gives me this problem. My brain is telling my back foot to get up and move forward, but with my special gate I'm pulling the ball of my foot slightly so the sole gets so sticky on those slick surfaces it just sticks to the ground, causing me to stumble afterwards . When I walk on other types of surfaces this doesn't happen. I think this is because the sole doesn't have the same grip as on the surfaces mentioned above and can actually slip a millimeter or two before my foot is completely off the ground. I can't use these shoes to walk around the mall or at work. But they are great everywhere.
