This is NOT the fastest processor you can get, but integrated graphics and a quad-core processor mean you can get a decent system for less money, not having to buy one a graphics card to run. It's not enough for high-level games, but basic esports and older, less intense games should work just fine. For the price, this can help you build a very decent system for less money and at significant cost savings compared to Intel's offerings. The only downside is that every single dedicated graphics card is faster than Vega 8. So check your budget as getting a Ryzen 3 2600 with a low-end graphics card will likely be much faster. But if you want a SMALL system with no room for a graphics card, I recommend it. The Ryzen 5 3400g is slightly faster but more expensive (and oddly out of stock). At this price you should really consider spending a little more on a graphics card.
