Review on 🧽 OXO Good Grips Soap Dispensing Dish Brush: Efficient Kitchen Cleaning Tool 15x10x5cm by John Roberts

Revainrating 1 out of 5

FAIL for a great product. OXO, consider using silicone rubber for the buttons in the future.

This product was a great kitchen tool. Unfortunately, OXO engineered it so that the soap dispenser button is made out of cheap rubber that won't last a few months. You press the button during use to dispense soap fairly regularly during the evening dishwashing. Unfortunately, the quality of the rubber is not up to the task. Another way to look at it as a downside is that the button doesn't last long enough to wear out the included spare brush. It makes sense to buy this brush and a few spares. Unfortunately, you can't get through the included brush before the torn off button drives you insane. What's even more annoying is that the 30-day policy was exceeded by just a few days of the button's lifespan, so I can't click Revain for that. Bottom line, this product isn't worth the money unless you think it's reasonable to get 5-6 weeks off a $9 dishwashing brush - well, that's only $90 a year for the brushes. I assume the silicone rubber button will hold up to everyday use and I'd happily pay another $1-2 to upgrade over this one.

Pros
  • Bristles and scrapers are safe for non-stick cookware. Simply remove the bottom of the brush handle to fill it.
Cons
  • No Power
