Aquawax sets the standard for easy application of 'wax' sprays. I personally don't think of AW as a real wax, more like a shine enhancer, super detailing spray and rinse. What do I mean by conditioner? You know those incredibly annoying water stains that appear on your car after spending all that time washing it? This comes from the minerals in your water (they are also found in soft water). To prevent staining and add some shine (maybe a little protection), I recommend washing your car with DuraGloss 901 (a really great soap at a very reasonable price), rinsing it out well, spraying AW on a slab and then drying it. with a good quality microfiber cloth (I personally use CarPro-US Microfiber Madness DMC cloths, but any QUALITY microfiber cloth will do). If you still see cloudiness, just buff it out lightly. Repeat on each plate. When you spray AW on your car you will find that the water will pool on the trim and slide off your car. This helps with drying and also demonstrates the properties of the sealer in AW (I wouldn't use AW as the only sealer/wax though). After drying, apply AW all over the car and run the back of your hand over the bonnet. You will be shocked by the smoothness you just added to your color. You'll also notice an immediate improvement in the shine of your paintwork, but give the AW an additional 12-24 hours and it will shine even more. Lifespan with AW is probably 2 weeks or 2 washes per day for a driver without a garage. AW is likely to offer little protection from the elements, so you should already have a sealer/wax on your car and treat AW as a super detailer/shine enhancer, not a wax.
