Let me start by saying that amazon brands of athletic clothing really need to step up their game. I have to go through reviews for every $20 pair of shorts to make sure that I will actually get what I ordered. With many different brands I have ordered a size up, size down, my real size, only for all of them to not fit. Its very important for a size to be accurate on an internet brand because if I need to send it back i will just not order again, its too frustrating.I read the reviews and ordered these in a size up large from my usual medium to fit my 5'5, 125 pound, generic female body. These shorts are loose on the legs, ride up in the crotch, and crush my bladder with the high waist. For some reason, mid waist and low rise athletic shorts are scarce on amazon, or they are all out of stock in my size and the color I want. I feel like I need to settle for something I do not want any time I order clothes on amazon. I can't work out in leggings and I need something tight to my body for the sort of workouts that I do, and I do not need to have my kidneys crushed, bladder squished or butt wedgied while I try to jump around and exercise, it will only cause cramps and make me need to go to the bathroom as I exercise. I am sending these back and I hope that this brand can make a better short that is true to size and not uncomfortable or embarrassing to be seen in. If I order a size up it will definately be too big. for now I stick to brands I know that sell through Revain, like Soffee, so I can get a consistent product and use the gift cards I got for Christmas.The short itself feels like it is made out of good material with nice color and the price point is good so I hope they can get it right. This is just some constructive criticism.
