Really waterproof!
I took a chance and originally bought it as a "fix patch" to rework the table. I checked the stores in the contact paper departments but they were all just like that. I also finished my kitchen countertop! Highly recommended if you're looking to change the look of your countertops but don't have the money for a complete makeover yet. It can be washed with water and dish soap just like a real countertop. Do the installation carefully and slowly and you won't have any problems. Some people recommend using a credit card or similar hard edge to smooth this out and remove bubbles, but personally I think just doing it by hand works best.
