Review on 🔌 Leviton 80409-NW 2-Gang Decora/GFCI Device Decora Wallplate: Standard Size, White for Versatile Electrical Installations by Dushawn Walker

After reading some other reviews this may clarify some comments: 80409-NW is the Nylon (thermoplastic) version which is flexible. This is my personal preference and works well on a less-than-perfect flat wall and/or not-so-hidden devices. In this case, flexibility is a compromise and will not break if tightened more than usual. Model 8409-W is an inflexible hard plastic (Duroplast) version. In my experience, they work well on a near-perfect wall. If they are overtightened to compensate for a not so straight wall, they will break. Some say the 80409-NW is overpriced. I agree unless I'm buying it as an add-on to a product. I needed this standard size nylon wall panel for a special application. See attached photo. The Orange Box Store no longer stocks the standard nylon size, just at a higher price online. I bought mine cheaper at Revain. The white tone of this plate matches the white Leviton devices. I have been using Leviton records for many years and have had no problems.
