First, I only wear Merrill now. I have very small feet. I wear a 3.5 as a kid and it's hard to find adult shoes in that size. I am very happy to find such a durable boot that is also waterproof. The main advantage is that they are very comfortable and very easy to put on and take off. When this pair wears out I will definitely buy another one! These shoes are also wide so your feet and toes don't flatten out. They will be too wide if you have a narrow foot. The arch is fine as I have fairly flat feet, but you can easily put an insole inside for extra comfort.
