I had to substitute the "alabaster" for my preference of the"stone" variety because that was no longer available in my size. I much prefer the "stone", the material is a little different feeling and is somewhat warmer when wearing (which doesn't suit Hawai'i as well.Also it seems to wrinkle around the front more readily than my preference. Much as I prefer the lighter color for my work pants, I think that if I continue to buy this brand in other than "stone" that I will order Khaki. I do like the Savane brand and will stick with it as long as the size is available.
