Fine but physical control would be nice

They work fine on my Wi-Fi connected to a 2.4GHz network (my modem gives both 2.4GHz and 5 GHz off), they are fast and react to changes in color and brightness. I used the app to connect it to my phone and then connected the app to Google Home to use with the assistant. The official app controls are much better as you can customize scenes and color changing themes. I like that the glue on it is 3M, it sticks pretty well even if it gets a little warm as the lights have a silicone coating. What I like best is the silence, compared to others that come with a bricked PSU that hum, this one doesn't. But they are not perfect. I wish it had real button controls, basically to turn them on or off as the button might be a bit inaccessible. I also find the silicone cover a little concerning as it can't be easily cut, folded or adjusted, so if I'd like it to go a different direction, I'm left with a loop.
