I just LOVE this table. Until I bought this I was trying to make do with used junk. THIS desk made me fall in love with my router! I have an underwater router from Porter Cable that I didn't want to use because I was trying to use it with junk. I'm new to the world of tools. I use them for creative maker projects AND for my Victorian home restoration. So I'm learning everything as I go. I like this table because it feels solid. I'm a petite woman and I love that it's sturdy enough to stay in place while still being easy to move around my shop for storage. Installing and removing the router is also pretty easy, you don't have to spend half a day extracting the tool to use it for something else. I've just started learning what to do with my router, but I feel like my projects get a lot better when there are good tools for the job. The initial build wasn't bad at all. It's a bit of an enigma. A few hours and a bottle of wine made the process fun.
