It's pretty much as advertised. You turn it on, and connect the app from your smart phone. Will run on rechargeable battery or plugged in. Thermal printer, so only black lettering, but the selection of fonts and icons is amazing. Unlike other label printers I've used in the past, this one has individual labels (comes with 12x40mm) so you're limited in length to what you can fit on each label, rather than a custom length cut to any length you want. You can size fonts up to the limits of the label. Prints very quickly, and it's legible, though print is not perfect - good enough for labeling things, but probably not nice enough for anything fancy. My wife has decided she needs to label all her craft containers now. :) Only comes with one roll of labels, but seems like standard rolls, so should be easy to replace.
