The solid-state drive (SSD) is, in general, extremely good; nevertheless, the read and write speeds do not always correspond to those that are advertised by the manufacturer. This is a known issue. Got pros: 1. Speed. After using a hard drive for several years, the change in performance is definitely evident; games load significantly faster, and there are no longer lags when starting Windows Explorer 2. a software program marketed by Samsung that was included with the SSD purchase. It enables you to copy the operating system from the previous hard disk drive (HDD) and modify certain HDD characteristics, both of which contribute to an improvement in the overall performance of the solid state drive. Inadvantages: The SSD does not come with any sleds, and I'm not sure if this is considered an inconvenient aspect or not. When you go to make a purchase, keep this in mind.
