Installation was correct (maybe OEM?) but be sure to check if your car uses curved blades and install them correctly (google it) , how many install their blades incorrectly and complain that they don't work, especially on the passenger side. In my case, the curve curves up (like a smile) to the contour of the windshield, but I can see how one might think it could be installed with a curve down (frown). They work very well and clean the glass very cleanly and evenly. through the wiper blade. The first time I used it in light to moderate rain, I had a very faint squeak at the very end of the intermittent wiper motion, but it went away on the second day and hasn't been heard since. I have not used RainX or any other glass product and the wipers work great on their own. The gum feels firm and "fresh" (not dry or hardened). I had another brand I just removed that never worked very well and after one season I wasn't able to clean the windshield well. I will stay with the Bosch brand in the future as well.
