Exceptionally quiet: you can hear it screeching at full speed in a perfectly quiet room, but it doesn't sound like some PCs. Works with 2-pin, 3-pin and 4-pin connectors. Has a tachometer output, accepts PWM input. Soft rubber on four mounting corners minimizes vibration transmission. I can feel the breeze 16 inches away. It's usually pretty hard to get carried away by a fan, but this one does it for me!
