Review on DNA Motoring HL-OH-CS99-4P-SM-CL1 Headlight Assembly (Driver &Amp by Eric Smithlin

Definitely not a factory replacement

Light received on time. After taking it out of the box and comparing it to the original factory headlights, I could see that these assemblies were definitely smaller. Headlights don't fill the space allotted for them in the grille. The next problem was installing the lightbulb assembly. The socket blocks for the right and left high beams will only fit if you disconnect the assembly from the wiring and partially reinstall the assembly into the housing before reinserting the wiring into the socket assembly. Do not fully tighten the lamp assembly until the wiring is reattached to the base assembly. The next problem was that the left headlight housing didn't line up with the holes you put the pins in to attach the housing to the truck. After several attempts to align the holes with a screwdriver, at the risk of damaging the headlight assembly, I managed to align them. This resulted in the left side of the headlight assembly being slightly higher than the right side. Not exactly. On a positive note, the turn signal housing assembly fit as expected and was easy to install, except the plastic v-clip was slightly larger than a slot in the truck, so I used a knife to cut the hole a little more and make it fit. All in all, if you expect an exact factory fit, this isn't for you.
