Six months later, this blanket is still super soft and snuggly. The pillow covers ended up being made into kitty beds for two of our senior cats, and let's just say they would fight to the bitter end before sharing those beds with one of our other cats. The others end up trying to sneak in naps on the blanket if one of us forgets and leaves it on the seat of a chair or sofa. The humans in the house end up trying to snake it from each other as well. I want to order another but the hubby says we already have enough blankets in the house. That may be, but not enough of THIS blanket. Seriously, this thing is so dang soft. Similar blankets haven't held up as well, especially through the dryer even when it's set no higher than medium. No such trouble with this blanket. The pseudo fur has remained totally silky soft. The pretty marbling color is another bonus on top of the softness. They make pillowcases for throw pillows and full size bed pillows and duvets in such, but too bad that they don't make sheet sets. That would be amazing.
